Barbara was an outgoing person who lived life to the full, she had a loving, doting family who cared for her so much, husband maurice, son's anthony and steven, sisters denise, anne and eunice, brother john, nieces and nephews and many others.
Barbara was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophageous on 8th january 2006, we all thought she was going to be ok and could be cured, yet we were told some devestating news, the cancer was terminal!
She fought so hard but sadly lost her battle against it on 7th august 2006.
However she did not go alone, all her close family were with her as she flew to be an angel. She is missed so much by everyone who knew her and will be forever in our hearts.
Now at peace with the angels. Fly Free and Sleep Tight. xxxx

It has been 2 years since you left us to go and be an angel. We miss yo loads but we understand you had to go as you couldnt not bear to suffer anymore. miss you so much aunty barbara, can't believe it has been nearly two years since u flew to be an angel. the day of ur funeral was the hardest day of my life, it was a beautiful service but so upsetting, so many people were there, it was nice cos it just showed how many people cared for you and how much u had an impact on peoples lives. you have another great nephew, lewis james, he was due on ur birthday but was a lazy boy and was 5 days late. he is gorgoues, sad u never got to meet him but im sure u are watchin over him, watch over my mam and everyone, she misses you soooooo much. hope that you are having fun up there sleep tight xx
